Hey! Just I wanted to say that you guys have a great podcast, extremely thought provoking and intelligent. I wish more people would leave comments in order to fuel debates and discourse! That said, I was wondering what opinion you guys have on human evolution or, specifically, mental evolution... This stems partially from my fascination with the TV series "Heroes" (in which random people all over the world begin to experience spontaneous evolution, giving them special "powers") and partially from your last podcast. I've read in several [likely irreputable] places that perhaps cosmic consciousness is a sign of human "mental" evolution. I know it borders on para-scientific, but could it be possible that certain peoples' brains are emerging into a new state of evolution, a sort of "intermediate species" between what we were and what we may eventually become? Is it conceivable that these people who are experiencing moments of "cosmic consciousness" might be undergoing subtle changes in brain structures or chemistry allowing them to become "aware"? Anyway, keep up the phenomenal work, and thank you!

Today's scientists no longer think about an infinite creation but only a universe of limited size that can be described as an expanding cloud that seems to be denying the laws of gravity. As with the discovery of the double helix of the DNA structure revolutionized chemistry, genetic science, and medicine so will the understanding of the structure of the Universe revolutionize cosmology, physics, astronomy, and even consciousness. Is it the "cosmic consciousness" when you know the true structure of the Universe? Knowing the true structure of the universe is the same knowledge that is only known to the higher life forms in our Universe. We are not there yet and so we live in the dark. The unification of science and God is the ultimate truth required before the structures and mysteries of the Universe are understood. Leave God out and you leave out the truth of the Universe. God has created a Universe that will last forever and somewhere in the future mankind will find that out. It will begin by making the scientist looking stupid and the laws of the structure are real that show an intelligent designer. The true structure of the Universe will be explained and proven by true science facts that "ordinary humans" will finally understand as truth. I predict when "ordinary humans" know the true structure of the Universe that is going to change the consciousness of them. It goes beyond feeling like your one with the universe – to knowing that the universe is going on forever and God wants us to be part of it.
